Celebrating the 4th of July Around the Valley

The 4th of July is a time to celebrate freedom, community, and the people who have helped protect the country we call home. As we enjoy the fireworks, barbecues, pool days, and summer gatherings, it’s also a meaningful time to remember and support the veterans, service members, and military families who have served.

There are many simple ways to show appreciation this Independence Day. Thank a veteran, service member, or military family in your community. Support veteran-owned businesses throughout Arizona. Donate to local veteran organizations or care package drives. Volunteer with groups that assist veterans, active-duty families, or wounded service members. And as you celebrate, be mindful of neighbors, pets, and veterans who may be sensitive to fireworks.
